Hand-crafted by a
hobbyist gardener with an eye for the original, our sugar flowers
are painstakingly shaped, painted and dusted to bring each a
life-like quality. Prices range from $5 to $30 per flower depending
on the size and complexity. However, the higher priced flowers are
large, so often one is sufficient for a design. Typically a cake can
be beautifully adorned with sugar flowers for less than $100. We
recommend the use of sugar flowers on a cake since fresh flowers are
often sprayed with pesticides and many fresh flowers are poisonous
(see our blog for a complete list). For these reasons, many fresh
flowers should not come in contact with the cake. Also sugar flowers
can be preserved as a keepsake of your special day.
